Martine has been over in Norwich this month for The University of The Arts, working with their BA and MA Photography students. She presented a lecture for the students about her work and career pathway as part of their professional practice module. This was later supplemented with a hands-on workshop which took the cohort off campus to shoot with perspective control lenses in a former banking hall in the city.
Norwich is one of Martine’s favourite UK cities with a vibrant retail area within the medieval centre. She first photographed this for Architects’ Journal in 1993 when Castle Mall was opened, returning again to shoot BDP’s Chapelfield Centre in 2015. Other buildings she has shot over the years include Cinema City for Burrell Foley Fischer and has led architectural photography masterclasses for WEX at Norwich Cathedral.
