A return to the scene of a previous shoot saw the start of Martine’s photographic 2020, the easing of the winter lockdown allowed her to get up to Leeds and re-capture Chapel FM, a community radio station in the Seacroft area. Housed in a former chapel, Martine first visited around 2010 when the building was converted into a performance space and broadcast studio, but now Matt Strong, the architect for the first phase has expanded the facilities further into the former church hall. This has created a cafe and added rehearsal and mixed community use areas.

Everyone was very careful in how they mixed, bubbles and family groups, including Martine’s husband and son. Suffice to say, all were rewarded with bottomless coffee and cake!
